I am a proud resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, and a lover of all things books and beach! I was born and raised in Alabama.  Southern traditions and experiences are what I know, and, though I enjoy traveling, I love telling modern stories about the American South! It's home ... no matter where I am or where I go, this landscape, this way of life is a part of me. My books are classified as Southern Fiction or Southern, Christian Fiction. It was the natural fit for me. I’m a Southern girl, the granddaughter of a Southern Baptist preacher who has proudly sported my Nana's maiden name with a sense of purpose and responsibility since the day I was born. I feel led to share my faith through my work, and I have always been inspired by stories about characters who have faced and overcome real-life issues. So, for me, to be able to combine all of those things in Southern, Christian Fiction is just the perfect fit!
